This website version saves tree data in the visitor's own browser using localStorage. The demo does not include a cloud account system or server database.
Data may remain in the same browser until the user clears browser storage, uses the blank tree button, or replaces the tree by importing another JSON file.
Recommended production policy
If you publish this as a live service with user accounts, clearly explain what family information is collected, where it is stored, who can access it, how users can delete it, and how exports work.
Genealogy data can include living relatives. Always provide consent, visibility, and deletion controls.
